July Visiting Teaching message

I love that the visiting teaching messages are centered on our Savior, Jesus Christ.  This month the message is The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Advocate.  

I love the simple yet profound reminder that Jesus is our advocate.  He is ready and anxious to plead for our cause and to help us return to live with our Father in Heaven.  As we contemplate the advocacy that we have each been blessed with, I pray that we may have the courage like Esther1 to do what we need to in our lives.  

The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Minister

Each month there is a Visiting Teaching message for sisters to share with other sisters (ladies to share with other women within the neighborhood or ward boundaries).  Visiting teaching gives women the opportunity to watch over, strengthen and teach one another.  

This month the focus is on The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Minister.  Christ was an amazing example at ministering to others.  He served unselfishly, constantly doing his Father's work.  For us to minister, we must also do the work of the Lord here on the Earth.  Sometimes this may feel like an overwhelming calling; however sometimes the simplest smile or text can fulfill a prayer that has been offered or a tear that has been shed-ministering to another and lifting them up.
