One of the best ways to get some short term food storage is through case lot sales! This is the last week for most of these case lots, but I wanted to let you know they are happening. This is not a comprehensive list by any means. More of just the common items that you may be interested in. If you look, a lot of times prices can vary about $.10 from store to store on any given item. Initially, that may not seem like a lot but it adds up fast when you are buying in bulk. All of this bulk is the Western Family brand (or Sure Savings).
Hopefully, this will give you a quick helper on where to save some money and stock up for your family. I would much rather buy in bulk and save a little money (and know I have enough for several months) than run out week after week.
*note: I have seen canned vegetables go down to $.33 so that may not be the best sale but if you are in need of some it would be great to pay $.50 opposed to $.68 or more.
