Kmart Clearance

We stopped by Kmart to see what was available!  We found some great deals.
*** Clearance items do not seem to be consistent in all stores or online
All the Easter baskets are 75% off!!!  That means that they are all between $2.99 and $5.99.  There are princess baskets, barbie, bunny, hot wheels, ball and many more options to choose from.

All the Easter is 70% off.  Their Easter books are 50% off, and these large stuffed animals were also marked 70% off!

We roamed a couple other aisles while we were there.

I also found these cute little scooters!  Final cost, $10.00!!!

Right now all their clearance shoes are an additional 50% off!  The boots on the left we paid $3.99 and the ones on the right we paid $4.99.

May 1, 2014

The beginning of the month=new coupons!!!

I honestly don't print coupons much anymore, however sometimes they are nice to be able to do.  For example, right now there is a $.50 off of pampers wipes that can be printed.  There are not any that are current in Red Plum, Smart Source, or P&G.  I will print 2 of these off and then go to Smiths, where I will buy 2 wipes (with 2 other products to get my buy 4 save $4 promo) and each wipe will cost me $.49!!!

The reason I use Inbox Dollars Coupons instead of another coupon site is because for every coupon I redeem, I will get credited $.10!  Making each of those wipes really only $.39.  Which is an AMAZING price!

Inbox Dollars  will credit you $5.00 when using a referral link which is a great way to get started.  You can also read emails (that show up on your home page that you get credited $.02 for just opening), they also have games, surveys and other options.  I honestly just open the emails and print coupons from here though.  You do have to accumulate $30 before you can request a payment and they do have a small processing charge, however it is pretty easy free money...

24: The Complete Series

Only good for TODAY (5/1/2014)

Amazon has 24: The Complete series as their Amazon Deal of the Day.  This is marked down 77% making your cost $79.99 (you receive FREE shipping)

If this is on anyone's list, today is a great day to get a deal on it!

Kellogg's bonus

With all the Kellogg's items on sale this week, I wanted to let you know about a promotion they are having (information can be found on specially marked Special K products).  I recently purchased 3 boxes of Special K cereals and some protein bars, all of which had Codes that I can redeem for FREE nail polish!

The bonus part of this!  Is how much I really did or didn't spend to get my free polish.  $1.49/box +$1.00 off 3 boxes cereal + $1.00 off 2 boxes of protein bars + $2.25 back in rebates from ibotta for cereals + (as of today) Checkout 51 is offering $1.00 cash back on 2 boxes of Special K cereal and $1.00 cash back on Special K protein bars!

That makes for some great deals on cereal and bars and if you enter in all your codes, FREE nail polish!

Checkout 51

Checkout 51 is another app I love to use!  I can pair this with coupons, sales, and  ibotta.  Occasionally, both ibotta and Checkout 51 will have milk at the same time making it a really good deal.

Checkout 51 works a lot like ibotta.  You download the app  (if you don't have a smart phone I believe you can use in on desk top too).  Then, when you are ready to go shopping, just check what offers they have.  One thing I love about Checkout is there are no limits on stores.  They just have the offers.  All the offers are LIVE at the same times too so you don't have to worry about something expiring or being exclusive to any one particular store.  The offers go live on Thursday mornings so you have to make sure you upload any given receipts with items on them before 11:59 MDT on Wednesdays.  Checkout 51 also doesn't have you verify items, just scan the receipt and you are done!

This app is great for some of the items we don't always see coupons for too.  They often have rebates on eggs and milk....  They usually always have some sort of produce as well. This week they have bananas and avocados! They are also offering a spring cleaning offer for the month of May.  If you redeem 4 spring cleaning offers by May 28th, you will get an extra $1!!!  (Spring cleaning offers are marked by a fun blue background with flowers).

Once you reach $20.00 in rebates you can cash out and you will be sent a check!!!  Love it.  Easy and fast!

***  I have noticed that sometimes my rebates are not exactly the same as the ones Ty gets on his phone.  If you decide to have 2 separate accounts, double check the rebates if you are buying something that you may not want without the rebate.

ibotta

I talk a lot about ibotta and the rebates I get from using this particular app.  I thought I would explain it a little better.

ibotta is an app that can be used on a smart phone or ipad (I honestly don't know about other tablets). ibotta offers different rebates such as; grocery, apparel, restaurant, health and beauty, pet, home improvement, babies & kids, and movie theaters.  The categories are always there, however the rebates within them change.  When a rebate is soon to expire it will show in a banner above the item.  Also, some stores have Exclusive items that are only offered at that particular location.

The reason I love ibotta is because I can pair it with coupons and store sales.  For example, I purchased Kellogg's cereal yesterday at the store as part of a promotion and paid $1.49 per box.  Then I had a coupon that was $1.00 off 3 (so I selected 3 boxes that were each individually offered on ibotta as well) my boxes of cereal with the coupon then were $1.16.  When I got home, I went into my app, to Smith's (because that is where I made my purchase), then clicked on each item I had purchased.  I verified my purchase (by scanning the bar-code of the cereal) then took a picture of my receipt.  Each item was worth a $.75 rebate totaling my cereal at $.41 a box!!!

Then once you earn $5 in rebates you can cash out via venmo, Paypal or get gift cards that are available.  It is pretty simple, yet very worth the few minutes it takes to do.

A great thing that ibotta does, is when you use a referral link to sign up, they give you 10 days to claim a rebate.  If you do within those 10 days, they bonus you with $2.00 to get you going!  Right now, they have milk available on a rebate even!!!!

Any brand- One Gallon of White milk (excludes flavored and no-dairy varieties).

All you have to do is purchase a gallon of white milk at any of the stores under grocery, verify the milk by scanning the bar-code, then take a picture of the receipt.  Within 24 hours usually, the rebate will show up for you!!!

Let me know if you have any questions about this app and I will help you as much as I can.
